If you're looking for a printer with AirPrint that produces detailed pictures, this is a very good option. However, its cartridge price is relatively cheap, so even if you need to replace the ink often, the cost-per-print remains low, especially for photos. Unfortunately, despite being marketed as a home office printer, it doesn't yield nearly as many pages as other options. You can also use the mobile app to scan, print, and copy. Along with Apple AirPrint, you can scan and print via many different ways, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, or a USB cable connection. There's a flatbed scanner with high resolution and color depth that's great for scanning images, and there's also an automatic document feeder to quickly process multi-page documents. It prints 4" x 6" photos decently fast, though full-size color pages and black-only documents take much longer. This all-in-one inkjet model prints excellent-looking pictures that are detailed and have no banding, and its colors are vibrant and look accurate enough for casual use. The best photo printer with AirPrint we've tested is the Canon PIXMA TR8620.
